FREE PUBLIC INTEREST LAW SCHOOL?
In August 2009 the University of California, Irvine School of Law will open to its first class of students. Below are a few quotes and a video from the website that indicate the innovative direction the school plans to take.
Instilling public service values will be at the core of our mission.
The University of California, Irvine School of Law is in the process of raising significant scholarship money to support our founding class of 60 students. We currently expect to offer full-tuition scholarships to most, if not all, students from our first entering class.
We wish them the best and look forward to welcoming a new “crop” of public interest attorneys.
Thanks to Mommy Banker for sharing this story.
